Short Facts It is easy to figure that there are very few actresses of the new wave that have had the talent and influence of Natalie Portman. Born In Jerusalem, in 1981, she moved with her parents at a young age to the US. The daughter of a doctor father and an artist mother, Portman took after her mother. Natalie clearly was after her mother's ways. Spotted in a pizza parlorin New York at 11, she started appearing in ads. Howeaver a life in modeling was not exactly her dream, and at the age of 13, in 1994, she took her step in the world of acting!
